Joy in January: Greater!

In Ohio we have been iced in the past few days. In the midst of it all, I remembered a winter back in 2015, a cold one as usual, when I posted a series I called “Joy in January.” So here it is possibly revised but reposted. Enjoy and stay warm inside your soul.

Brothers & sisters, are you amazed, as am I?

Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. (Colossians 1:27 NLT)

The Lord Jesus Christ in you! The Lord Jesus Christ in me! What glory right here...right now!

The Sovereign Creator of the Universe lives in each of His children! His life courses through our spiritual veins!  What glory for this life as well as the life to come!

And not only that, His Indwelling Life is greater than anyone or anything else in all creation.

And so this week in the midst of what could be a long winter, let's celebrate and enjoy the joy of the One who is Greater by far!

...he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 ESV)
