So many in my circle of friends, family, and other "loved ones," are in the midst of suffering and loss. Perhaps for them, once the initial support of others starts to dwindle, there can settle in a deep aloneness. Maybe at times, God Himself seems distant...even absent.

We all have to admit we feel lonely at times even when all is going along peacefully.
