Words for Holy Week with Kingdom Winds

images.jpeg

For the past eight months, I’ve had the honor of sharing some of my writing on a new creative site called Kingdom Winds. I love their work and how they transform my humble thoughts and make them attractive in so many ways…through polishing wherever needed, reformatting, attaching appropriate photos and artwork. The KW folks are good at what they do and have a heart of encouragement toward the authors and artists and designers and others who contribute to the site.

One of the big plusses of my posts on KW is they can be easily and neatly printed out and shared online.

So for myself this Holy Week, I decided that I would read these selections fresh as if for the first time…right here from the Kingdom Winds posts. Maybe I’ll even forget that they are my own words led by the Spirit. And maybe those of you who have followed this Lenten series for all these eight years with me on A Branch in the Vine will read them again as if for the first time.

So together we can melt under the weightiness of these beautiful Words of our Savior from the Cross.

Amen.

Last Words and Conversations: Jesus’ Final Words From the Cross

A Word of Forgiveness: Father, Forgive Them

A Word of Salvation: Today You Will Be with Me

A Word of Family Affection: Mother, Behold Your Son

A Word of Abandonment: Why have You Forsaken Me?

A Word of Personal Need: I Thirst!

A Word of Completion: It is Finished!

A Word of Reunion: Into Your Hands, I Commend My Spirit
